MBC's 'Nolmyeon Mwohani' held OST auditions on June 20 for Yoo Jae-seok's upcoming short-form drama sequel, with the cast weighing in on candidates.

Episode 334 of MBC's Nolmyeon Mwohani aired June 20. Yoo Jae-seok is moving forward with a second short-form drama following the success of Dongsaengi Humchin Nae Yeojareul Dasi Ppaetgiro Haetda, abbreviated as Donghumnaeyeodaeppae.
No script exists yet. Yoo and castmates Haha, Heo Gyeong-hwan, and Joo Woo-jae ran auditions for OST singers for Season 2 instead. Yoo wanted "a song that would fit in a soft love story." One auditionee caught Joo's ear—he said the performer reminded him of 10CM and Soran, both known for the gokmak namchin (ear-boyfriend) sound.
Then an auditionee walked in resembling Choi Sung-gon, the mystical ballad-prince character from the comedy film Wild Thing (directed by Son Jae-gon, opened June 3). Oh Jung-se plays that role and even released an audio track, "Ni-ga Joha," as part of it. Yoo's reaction was immediate: "Is it Choi Sung-gon?" The confusion set the tone for what came next.
Kim Won-hun introduced himself as "Oh Bong-sik" and arrived with a curtain draped around his neck. When asked why, he said: "I cover it because my uvula sticks out a lot." Yoo told him, "I like your acting but you can't control your emotions." Kim fired back: "I can do it, really"—then demanded, "Really, call me next Thursday."
The exchange kept building until Haha had to step in. Yoo's final word: "I was going to contact you but it's hard to handle your personality."
Wild Thing follows Triangle, a three-member co-ed dance group that once dominated the music industry. They disbanded after an unexpected incident and are now attempting a comeback 20 years later.
