Hwang Yun-sung wraps Anyang concert, first stop on Mujeon Legend nationwide tour

Hwang Yun-sung (황윤성, 29) held his first concert in Anyang on June 14, posting about the show the same day.

"Anyang first concert! It was a truly grateful and happy time," he wrote. "I hope to show you more enjoyable performances in the future, so please come see us."

The Anyang date is part of the Mujeon Legend - Trot Men's Ranking War (무명전설-트롯 사내들의 서열전쟁) nationwide tour on MBN. Hwang made the top 7 on the show. In the semi-final "Legend's Choice" round, he performed a joint stage with a legend singer and advanced to the finals.

His trot TV run goes back further. He placed 11th on TV Chosun's Naeil-eun Mr. Trot (내일은 미스터트롯) as an idol division participant, reaching the semi-finals. He picked up the nickname "Dongwon Man" (동원맨) as a semi-regular on Bboong-songa Hakdang (뽕숭아학당).

Before trot, Hwang debuted in 2015 with idol group ROMEO on their mini album ROMEO 1st EP The ROMEO. His bandmates were Seunghwan, Yunseong, Minseong, Kyle, Hyeongyeong, Gangmin, and former member Milo. He appeared on JTBC's Mix Nine in 2017, then joined trot boy group Mr.T with Kang Tae-gwan, Lee Dae-won, and Kim Gyeong-min. In 2024, he appeared on Seasonal Cooking Next-Door Sister Season 3 (제철 요리해 주는 옆집 누나 시즌3), broadcast on K STAR and LG Hellovision.

He currently runs two YouTube channels: Yunjjang TV (윤짱TV) and Trot Boyfriend Hwang Yun-sung (트롯남친 황윤성).
