Hyeri, HyunA, and Shin Mina have each pushed back against unwanted commentary about their bodies following fan meetings and public appearances.

Three Korean female celebrities are speaking out after facing unsolicited scrutiny over their bodies in recent weeks.
Hyeri wrapped her 2026 Hyeri Asia Fan Meeting in Seoul at Samsung Hall, Ewha Womans University on the 13th. Almost immediately, online commentary fixated on her stomach. She addressed it head-on: "I like myself, but people watching might think I'm not professional enough." Then: "We are all beautiful as we are. I don't know why you have to be thin to look professional." For her fandom Hyerumi, she softened the message. "If Hyerumi wants it, I'll try hard — exercise and stay healthy!" Her Asia fan meeting tour continues.
HyunA married Yong Junhyung in October of last year. She's been fielding pregnancy rumors. Her response was direct: "I am managing my health well, exercising hard and controlling my weight very well. Don't worry about me!" Her agency called the rumors "completely untrue."
Shin Mina (신민아) married Kim Woo-bin last year and faced similar speculation after a public appearance. Online communities cited changes in her appearance. She has a film coming out — 눈동자, in which she plays dual roles: a photographer losing her sight and the character's twin sibling — so the timing lands differently.
Singer Hong Jinyoung addressed comparable commentary on SBS variety show Singbal Beotgo Dolsing Pomen: "When I see such comments, I get hurt. I just ate a lot of food."
