ITZY's Yuna reveals she and Ryujin "didn't understand each other at first" in An So-hee YouTube appearance
Yuna opened up about her early friction with Ryujin and her survival tactics as ITZY's youngest, days after the group dropped mini album 'MOTTO'.
ITZY's Yuna stopped by An So-hee's YouTube channel on June 12 for a video called "A Rare Meeting of JYP's Youngest Lineage," and she went there.
The headline: Yuna picked Ryujin as the member she'd swap souls with for a day. "She just seems comfortable somehow," Yuna said—then walked back through why that comfort took years to build. "At first we didn't understand each other. Our personalities might not match well." Both of them felt it. Time changed that. Now Ryujin reads as cool and easy to be around, especially when they hit the same problem and Ryujin thinks about it from some totally different angle. She's curious about how Ryujin's mind works, which is honestly the most relatable thing.
On being the youngest in the group, Yuna laid out her survival tool: aegyo. "I analyzed when my unnies find me cute," she said. "It seems like there's no one who dislikes pure aegyo with 0% malice." Then she caught herself. "The fact that I'm talking about this isn't pure."
When it comes to taking care of members, she goes further than most. "I'm more of a problem because I even say it out loud. I really show off."
Yuna listed her charm points as her eyes, height, lips, and loveliness. She confirmed her height at 170cm. On team hierarchy, she said there is none—rank 0. Her specialty as the youngest is being light on her feet, quick to get up and help. She always sets out chopsticks and pours water first wherever she sits.
