JTBC's 'Apartment' hits screens July 11 at 10:40 PM. Ji Sung plays a former gang boss who infiltrates an apartment complex's leadership race to steal a hidden 10-billion-won reserve fund.

JTBC's new Saturday-Sunday drama 아파트 (Apartment) premieres July 11 at 10:40 PM. Ji Sung's character is not your typical HOA candidate.
He plays Park Hae-gang, former boss of the Oasis faction. His nickname—"0% unpaid receivables"—says everything about his collection record. On paper, Park runs HK Trading. In reality, he manages a VIP-only illegal gambling establishment. He's running for residents' representative council chairman because a 10-billion-won long-term maintenance reserve fund is hidden somewhere inside the 9,800-household complex. He plans to seize it within three months.
The show centers on a line item most residents ignore on their monthly management fee notices: 장기수선충당금, the long-term repair reserve fund. Park Hae-gang wants to get close enough to the money to walk away with it. Running for office pulls him into the corruption already festering inside the complex.
Ji Sung's first stills show him in an all-back hairstyle and formal suit. The production team said his first appearance is only the beginning. "His performance is an important viewing point of the series," they added.
Ha Yun-kyung plays Kang Ha-ri. Park Byung-eun and Moon So-ri complete the main cast, with Kim Won-hae as Do-ma-neun (도마뱀, "Lizard"). Writer Kim Yun-young and director Cho Yong-won helm the project.
