Jo Hwan, born in Dangjin, returns July 1 with his second album after two years away due to a voice condition.

Jo Hwan's second regular album drops July 1 at noon, marking his return after roughly two years sidelined by a voice condition.
The record has two new songs: the title track 이제는 지가 싫어유 and 아시나요 합덕역을, which centers on Hapdeok Station in his hometown of Dangjin, South Chungcheong Province. He wrote and composed both.
"I thought I wouldn't be able to sing again and tried to give my self-composed songs to other singers," Jo said. "But as I recovered my health, I gained confidence that I could sing them directly."
He sees the album as more than a personal milestone. "I hope that songs promoting Dangjin and Hapdeok will be loved by many people and become an opportunity to revitalize regional popular songs together."
On July 1 at 3 PM, Jo Hwan will perform live on MBC Radio from Mokpo, South Jeolla Province, introducing the new tracks. (The broadcast streams via YouTube 보이는 라디오 as well.) A Daejeon MBC appearance is set for August 19, with plans to continue promotion through national radio programs and singing classes.
