Kang Yu-seok Wraps Birthday Week With Cafe Photos and Fan Message

Kang Yu-seok (real name Kang Shin-chul, 31) closed out his birthday week on the 14th by posting photos from a fan-organized birthday cafe. "End of birthday week. Thank you for celebrating my birthday," he wrote.

The actor was born June 10, 1994 in Gangneung, Gangwon Province. His fans are Yureo-bun, and the fandom goes by Yureo-dan. He completed mandatory military service as a police officer driver before returning to the industry.

Kang debuted in 2018 with the OCN drama God's Quiz: Reboot. He won the Rookie Acting Award at the 2023 SBS Drama Awards for Beopjjeon, then swept through 2025 awards season. He appeared on Mnet's M Countdown performing under the in-drama fictional boy group High Boys concept as character Eom Jay. He joined the cast of the tvN special Wise Doctor Life Special - Let's Get Off Work and is a regular on MBC variety show Vacation Through Part-Time Work.
