Kim Jae-won and IVE's Liz confirmed as Day 2 MCs for 2026 KGMA
The Korea Grand Music Awards revealed its full MC lineup for November 7–8 at Gocheok Sky Dome: Nam Ji-hyun and RESCENE's Won-i on Day 1, Kim Jae-won and IVE's Liz on Day 2.
Actor Kim Jae-won and IVE's Liz will host Day 2 of the 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards, happening November 7 and 8 at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul.
The organizing committee called Kim Jae-won "active not only as an actor but also as a music program MC" and described Liz as "a versatile entertainer who needs no explanation." They expect the pair to "make KGMA shine even more."
Day 1 belongs to actor Nam Ji-hyun and Won-i of RESCENE. Nam Ji-hyun has hosted KGMA every year since it launched in 2024—three consecutive years now. She's rotated co-hosts across editions: NewJeans' Hanni, aespa's Winter, Red Velvet's Irene, and KISS OF LIFE's Natti. This year she appeared in the drama Eun-ae-ha-neun Dojeoknim-a. Won-i built a following on YouTube as "Geoje Girl." With RESCENE's chart reversal run, she's become one of the year's most-talked-about names.
Kim Jae-won debuted in the 2021 web drama Dwiromance and currently hosts KBS2's Music Bank. His drama work spans Our Blues, King the Land, Netflix's Hierarchy, Lady Deux, and Yumi's Cells Season 3 (early 2024). Coming next: MBC's Nado Bandaehaneun Naui Yeonae and the film 6 Myeongui Geojinmaljaengi Daehaksaeng.
Liz debuted with IVE in 2021. She's contributed OST vocals and lyrics for the dramas Summer and Heavy Love. IVE released Bang Bang as the title track of Revive Plus in February. Their Japanese fourth album Lucid Dream hit No. 1 on both the Oricon and Billboard Japan weekly charts. The group is currently on their second world tour, Show What I Am.
KGMA is in its third edition after launching in 2024 under Ilgan Sports. Fan voting opens through the Fancast app ahead of November. Artist lineups and award categories roll out in stages. The show covers K-pop, trot, and bands.
