'Cham Gyoyuk' hit Netflix's global #1 within three days. Here's what else Kim Moo-yeol has done worth watching.

Cham Gyoyuk (참교육) landed on Netflix June 5, 2026. Three days later, it claimed the #1 spot in the global non-English TV category and held it into week two.
Kim Moo-yeol plays Na Hwa-jin, a character whose strength he described in near-superhero terms—but with deliberate restraint. "Na Hwa-jin's strength is almost hero-level, but when dealing with kids, I tried to show him holding back," he said.
Start with Soonyeon Simpan (소년심판) if you're working through his back catalogue. The 10-part Netflix drama released February 25, 2022, with Kim as Judge Cha Tae-joo.
Sweet Home is the other major one. The 8-part series brought him in from season 2 onward as Kim Young-hoo, a UDT-trained sergeant. Season 2 dropped December 1, 2023. Season 3 came July 19, 2024.
Two more are coming. Halme (할매), a Netflix drama adapted from a webtoon, has Kim cast as Seo Yeon-woo with no release date yet. First Doctor (퍼스트 닥터) is also headed to Netflix, release date unconfirmed. Four Netflix projects across four years is a lot.
