Netflix's *True Education* hit #1 in 10 countries within a week of its June 5 debut, with Kim Moo-yeol dominating the cast topic index.

Kim Moo-yeol's 'True Education' tops Netflix Global Non-English chart and hits 6.4M views in 3 days

True Education (참교육) landed #1 on Netflix's Global Top 10 Non-English Shows chart for the June 1–7 window. Three days after its June 5 premiere, the series had already clocked 6.4 million views (measured as viewing hours divided by runtime).

It topped charts in 10 countries: South Korea, India, Singapore, and Thailand among them. Kim Moo-yeol ranked first in the TV-OTT drama cast topic index for the first week of June.

He plays Na Hwa-jin, a director at the Teacher Protection Bureau. The role had an unusual path to casting. Actor Kim Nam-gil had been in consideration for the lead but publicly stated his decision to pass. Kim Moo-yeol took it instead.
