4MINUTE's Kwon So-hyun cast in horror film Pink Box, already filming
Former 4MINUTE member Kwon So-hyun joins horror omnibus Pink Box as an influencer swept into a series of mysterious disappearances.
Kwon So-hyun is set to appear in Pink Box, a horror film produced by UPWorks. She's already on set. The omnibus follows famous influencers with 1 million followers who vanish one by one after a commemorative party.
So-hyun plays Yujin, an influencer who ran a mukbang channel before switching to health content. She clashes with Chaewon, another channel operator, before getting pulled into the film's central mystery.
It's a packed year for her. Her film 새벽의 Tango (Tango at Dawn) opened in April, where she played lead character Juhee. Drama 공감세포 (Empathy Cells) airs in July—she plays Hanijin, a rival and former girl group member to Yujian (played by Kang Mina). She also made her theatrical stage debut this year in 정희 (Jeonghee), a spin-off play based on the drama 나의 아저씨 (My Mister).
So-hyun debuted as the youngest member of 4MINUTE in 2009. After the group ended, she moved into acting. Her lead-role credits include 황구, 내게 남은 사랑을, 그 겨울, 나는, and 딜리버리.
