LISENE's Won-i to MC the 3rd Korea Grand Music Awards for the first time since debut

Won-i of girl group LISENE will co-host the first day of the 3rd Korea Grand Music Awards. It's her first awards-ceremony MC role since debut.

She takes the stage with actress Nam Ji-hyun at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul's Guro-gu on November 7, kicking off the two-day event that runs through November 8. Nam Ji-hyun returns for her third consecutive year hosting KGMA, having also MC'd in 2024 and 2025.

The KGMA organizing committee said Won-i and Nam Ji-hyun "each symbolize K-pop artists and K-pop fandoms," and that the pair "will present a special stage for K-pop artists and fans as MCs of the first day awards ceremony."

The timing reflects Won-i's growing visibility. LISENE's debut mini album SCENEDROME dropped in August 2024, and its title track LOVE ATTACK has climbed back into the upper tier of domestic music charts through a reverse-run. She also recently appeared on the JTBC variety program Ask Us Anything.

LISENE has a remake special single scheduled for July. The reverse-run momentum heading into a new release keeps a group in the conversation.
