Musical Elisabeth MV drops as sixth season hits #1 in advance ticket sales

Lin-a (린아) leads the music video for I Am My Own (나는 나만의 것), the signature number from musical Elisabeth, which dropped June 29. The production noted her strong alignment with the Empress Elisabeth character.

Tickets sold June 29–30 through EMK membership pre-sale and general admission, covering August 16 through September 4. The show immediately claimed the #1 advance booking spot across major ticketing platforms. "The result proved the meeting of verified cast and new cast, and audience expectations toward a new season," the production said.

Linup for season six: Lin-a, Lee Ji-hye, and Lee Ji-su share Empress Elisabeth. Death (Der Tod) rotates among Kai (카이), Seo Kyung-soo, and Ko Eun-sung. Park Eun-tae, Kang Hong-seok, and Noh Yoon split Luccheni—Park Eun-tae has held the role across three seasons including the premiere, while Kang Hong-seok returns after 8 years following his acclaimed fourth-season performance. Min Young-gi and Park Min-sung play Emperor Franz Joseph. Seo Ji-young and Joo-a take Archduchess Sophie. Crown Prince Rudolf goes to Jang Yun-seok and Kim Woo-sung. Kim Dae-ho and Jang Ye-won round out the company.

Signature numbers include I Am My Own, The Last Dance (마지막 춤), and The Shadow Grows Longer (그림자는 길어지고). Rock sound layered over orchestral melody—the formula that's sustained this show since its 2012 Korean premiere.

The musical won 8 awards at the 6th The Musical Awards, 4 at the 18th Korea Musical Awards, and took Best Work and Best Musical Work at the 8th Golden Ticket Awards.

Season six runs August 16 through November 15 at Blue Square Woori Bank Hall.
