Netflix's 'Hunting Dogs' Seasons 1 & 2: Full Cast, Kim Sae-ron Production Fallout, and What Changed

Hunting Dogs (사냥개들) hit Netflix on June 9, 2023 as eight episodes of action pulled from the webtoon.

Season 1 assembled a sprawling cast: Woo Do-hwan, Lee Sang-yi, Heo Jun-ho, Park Sung-woong, Siwon, Lee Hae-young, Ryu Soo-young, Choi Young-joon, Tae Won-seok, Park Hoon, Ha Su-ho, Jo Wan-gi, Bae Je-gi, Yoon Yu-sun, Hong Jun-young, Min Kyung-jin, Jung Da-eun, and Park Min-jung.

Filming fractured when Kim Sae-ron's drunk driving accident struck near the end of production. Rather than halt everything, the team worked with what they had. They cut scenes that felt disruptive or unnecessary. Existing footage stayed intact. Kim Sae-ron didn't return for additional filming, ADR, or reshoots—those gaps remained unfilled. Jung Da-eun was brought in as a new character to pick up the narrative thread.

Season 2 arrived April 3, 2026 as a 7-episode run on Netflix. Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi returned alongside Jung Ji-hoon.
