NEWBEAT's Park Min-seok cast in Tokyo MX BL drama 'Your Sky Harenotchi Koi' — his acting debut

NEWBEAT member Park Min-seok is heading to Japanese TV. He's been cast in Your Sky Harenotchi Koi (유어 스카이 하레노치 코이), a new drama on Tokyo MX—his first acting role since debut.

The show remakes Your Sky, the BL drama that aired in Thailand in 2024. Park Min-seok plays Moon Da-on, a mysterious Korean exchange student who appears as the third couple in the series.

"I am very honored and happy to participate in this work," he said. "I am really excited and have high expectations as I am challenging acting for the first time."

He's also been preparing the language side of things. "I am studying Japanese hard as a result of this drama and am preparing to do my best. I ask for your interest."

A premiere screening of Episode 1 happens July 5 at Tokyo Big Sight International Conference Hall, where the cast meets local fans. The first episode airs August 2 at 1:30 AM on Tokyo MX.

Park Min-seok is one of seven NEWBEAT members: Hong Min-seong, Jeon Yeo-yeojung, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Cho Yun-hu, and Kim Liou. Their November mini album Look So Good hit No. 1 in six categories on Amazon Music US and entered the YouTube Music TOP 100 chart. They won the Rookie Award at the 17th 2025 Seoul Success Awards and recently wrapped China activities plus their debut nationwide tour. One member goes full actor while the group's momentum keeps climbing.
