Park Bo-gum sings for animated film 'David' in MV for 'Follow the Light'

The animated film David released a music video for Follow the Light (빛을 따라), with actor Park Bo-gum on vocals.

Park voices adult David in the Korean dub and performs the song himself. The number plays as a grown David appears on horseback. The lyrics include: "He has the heart of a lion and the soul of a lamb," "He will not retreat even when darkness comes," and "Follow the light of hope."

Follow the Light ranks among the film's main musical numbers. The story traces an ordinary shepherd named David from his mother's song through his confrontation with the giant Goliath as he steps into his destiny as king.

Directed by Phil Cunningham and Brent Dawes, the Korean dub features Jang Gwang, Cha Ji-yeon, Song Jun-seok, and Si Young-jun alongside Park. The subtitle version stars Brandon Engman, Phil Wickham, Brian Stivale, Adam Michael Gold, and Miri Messica. Lotte Entertainment brought it to Korean theaters.

David opens nationwide July 10.
