On TV Joseon's matchmaking show, Shim Su-chang froze while filling out his application. He wrote "for each other's new life" as his reason for divorce—then admitted he'd never put it in writing before

Shim Su-chang broke a sweat filling out a matchmaking application on TV Joseon's 조선의 사랑꾼, which aired on the 22nd.
The show had him sitting for a formal interview to join its '6등급 클럽.' Midway through the paperwork, he hit the divorce question and stalled. "Do I need to write the reason for the divorce too?" he asked on camera. After thinking it over, he wrote: "For each other's new life."
"I'm sweating," he said. "This is the first time I've written something like this after my divorce."
Shim married a non-celebrity businessman in December 2018. The marriage ended last year after seven years.
Kim Hyung-jun, a former member of idol group SS501, and Seo Young-woo, a former national bobsled team representative, also appeared as applicants. Shim wasted no time sizing up the competition, asking the group whether anyone else was divorced and whether he was the oldest in the room.
