So Ji-seop returns to SBS drama after 13 years in 'Kim Bu-jang'

So Ji-seop is back on SBS for the first time in 13 years.

The new Friday-Saturday drama Kim Bu-jang premiered June 26 at 9:50 PM on SBS. A production presentation had taken place the day before at SBS headquarters in Mokdong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Director Lee Seung-young and cast members Choi Dae-hoon, Yoon Kyung-ho, Joo Sang-wook, and Son Na-eun joined So Ji-seop for photos and a Q&A.

The drama follows Kim Bu-jang, an ordinary family man living as a common citizen, who is forced to reveal a secret identity — one that must never be known to the world — in order to save his daughter from danger.

So Ji-seop described the return to SBS as feeling "like coming back to my hometown." Thirteen years away from a network that helped build your career is a long time.
