THE SCOUT drops "Shout, Born Again Star" MV as 16 muses head into semi-final

ENA's THE SCOUT : 다시 태어나는 별 released the music video for 소리쳐 다시 태어나는 별 (Shout, Born Again Star) on June 12, right after Episode 6 aired. All 16 muses performed it. The audio has landed well with listeners.

The episode showed semi-final prep in motion. Masters Lee Seung-chul, Kim Jae-joong, Wendy, and DAY6's Young K each mentor four of the 16 muses. Physical trainer Choo Sung-hoon runs exercise classes and handles vocal coaching, recording training, posture correction, and image work.

Lee Seung-chul didn't pull punches. He told Park Jun-sung "the hand not holding the microphone is awkward." He called Cha Sol-bin's motions "poor"—Cha Sol-bin shot back: "this is the day I've been criticized the most in my life." He told Jin Hyun-jun he "looks ugly" when forcing high notes with his throat. To current poll leader Lee San, he said his stage "was a mess" and told him to play an instrument instead of dancing. Kim Jae-joong told Jo Yun-chan, "If you sing like this, it's a disgrace to rockers."

Some feedback stung less. Lee Seung-chul told Kim Yeon-gyu "it was actually perfect" before adding "don't sing with your thoughts, sing with your senses." Young K called his team's new song "the top pick out of 50 songs." When Choi Ha-ram guessed it sounded like senior artist Jung Seung-hwan, Young K replied: "It's you."

Lee San leads the second-round poll at 23.29%, holding first place for five consecutive weeks. Jo Yong-hwan and Kim Yu-shin trail closest in the cumulative rankings.

All 16 muses perform individual new songs at the semi-final on June 19, Episode 7.
