Twenty people dressed as 최성곤, a character from the comedy film *Wild Thing*, marched through Seoul on June 21 to promote a June 30 live broadcast.

Twenty people in long black wigs, white shirts, and black pants — the signature "모나미룩" of fictional character 최성곤 — marched through Seongsu-dong, Seoul on June 21, stopping pedestrians in their tracks.
A financial platform staged the stunt to build buzz for a June 30 live broadcast. The platform's official SNS account posted a poster of 최성곤 drawing a heart among yellow roses with the caption "곤듀들, 내 라이브 봐줄 거지?" ("Gondus, you'll watch my live, right?"). 최성곤's first solo live concept content drops the same day.
최성곤 comes from 와일드 씽 (Wild Thing), a comedy film about 트라이앵글, a three-member co-ed dance group that disbanded after an unexpected incident and attempts a comeback 20 years later. The cast includes 강동원 (Kang Dong-won), 엄태구 (Uhm Tae-goo), 박지현 (Park Ji-hyun), and 오정세 (Oh Jung-se).
By June 20, Wild Thing had drawn 1,013,519 viewers. The production cost 8 billion won and needs roughly 2 million admissions to break even, so there's still work ahead.
The film's "러브 이즈 (Love is)" music video had racked up 4.2 million views on Lotte Entertainment's YouTube channel as of June 21. 최성곤's track "니가 좋아" is currently trending as a challenge.
