Yearin released her fourth mini album REACH YOU on June 9, 2026. She held a media showcase the same day at Rolling Hall in Hongdae, Seoul.
Five tracks. The album opens with title track Jojakbyeol (조각별), then Polaris, Chungon (춘곤), Orbit, and an instrumental version of Jojakbyeol. The concept follows a new journey beginning from the moment of waking from a dream.
Jojakbyeol carries a J-pop sensibility with an overall hopeful message, built around the image of recalling forgotten dreams and hope beneath the night sky. At the showcase, Yearin zeroed in on one detail: fireworks sounds appear in the final chorus. "I hope you'll listen carefully to that part too," she said.
On vocals, she kept it simple. "I focused on conveying emotions plainly rather than flashy techniques. I paid special attention to making the lyrics audible." She added that listeners would be able to feel she had grown in both vocals and tone.
She was candid about the nerves. Four mini albums in and they still hit. "It's been a long time since I greeted with a mini album and it's also been a long time since a showcase, so I'm very nervous," she said. She'd do her best given how hard she had prepared.
Reaching a fourth solo mini album brought both gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility. She also addressed recent comments about her appearance, saying no deliberate diet was involved—the change happened naturally while she was focused on album prep.
