BIGC opened fan voting for the 2026 SPOTV K-POP AWARDS on July 20. Eight categories are up for grabs this year, plus a new BAND section.

Fan voting for the 2026 SPOTV K-POP AWARDS kicked off July 20 at noon. BIGC, the co-operator and official voting partner, runs the fan vote engine under CEO Kim Mi-hee.
Eight categories split into two tiers. The "BIGC X Kugoong Global Fan Choice Popular Award" handles K-POP, TROT, OST, and BAND—all decided entirely by fan vote. The other four categories (Album Award, Male Group Award, Female Group Award, Rookie Award) give fan votes 20% weight, with Circle Chart data from South Korea's official music chart making up the rest.
The regular categories feature KickFlip, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, AND2BLE, KISS OF LIFE, and KiKi. In the Fan Choice K-POP subcategory, Zhang Hao of AND2BLE, Sung-hoon of ENHYPEN, and Won-i of RESCENE are on the ballot. Lee Chan-won and Young-tak compete in TROT. The BAND subcategory is new for 2026 SKA. DAY6 and QWER are listed as candidates.
Round 1 closes August 4 at 12:00 PM. The top 10 teams per category move to the finals.
BIGC also launched BIGC SPACE, a dedicated awards hub with real-time news, offline ticket sale schedules, a direct link to the official voting page, and voting trend data.
"We have created a space where global fans can conveniently communicate and vote as the main subjects of the awards," the company said. It will "provide an innovative fan experience that carries the heat of offline into the digital space" through collaboration with SPOTV.
BIGC operates an all-in-one digital venue platform covering ticket booking, AI-based live streaming, fan interaction, video OTT, global commerce, and fan data analysis. The platform has over 1.4 million membership members across 230+ countries.
