8TURN wraps first-week music show run behind new single '[8.X]' and title track 'Stagefright'

8TURN dropped [8.X] on July 21. The eight-member group — Jaeyun, Myungho, Minho, Yunseong, Haemin, Gyeongmin, Yunkyu, and Seungheon — spent the next seven days working through every major music show stage.

Mnet M Countdown, KBS 2TV Music Bank, MBC Show! Music Core, SBS Inkigayo. All four in one week.

Stagefright sits in R&B pop territory, built on dynamic rhythm with a refined top line and hook that sticks. Yunkyu, Jaeyun, and Myungho all wrote on the title track. Three members writing together matters for a group still figuring out its creative voice.

The album concept frames [8.X] as a record about breaking past fixed lines and predictable paths toward unknown coordinates. "Dot" closes the previous chapter. "X" points to a realm that can't be measured. (Whether that reads as a clean artistic pivot or a press-release abstraction depends on who's listening.)
