An Hyo-seop leads JTBC cooking survival drama 'Final Table' in October 2026

An Hyo-seop will headline Final Table on JTBC's Saturday-Sunday slot in October 2026. The premiere date hasn't been locked yet.

The story centers on The Table: K Chef 2026, a fictional global cooking competition. Korean chefs from across the world face off through intricate dishes and personal narratives.

This slot opens after Apartment, starring Ji Sung, launches July 11. JTBC goes on tentative hiatus afterward. Final Table is the leading candidate to occupy the time slot once the break concludes.

Following Final Table comes Beads of God, aiming for a December 2026 premiere. Set in 1258 CE during Goryeo, it tracks an escort team hunting the Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva bead—a national treasure—as Korea's 30-year war with Mongolia deteriorates. A princess fights to protect the team. An Bo-hyun, Lee Sung-min, Soo Hyun, Ha Yoon-kyung, and Yoon Kyun-sang round out the cast.

On the broader JTBC slate, Gold Digger with Kim Hee-ae and Noh Sang-hyun has shifted. It was originally slated for the second half of 2026 but scheduling talks have moved it to the first half of 2027.

New Employee Kang Hoe-jang, starring Lee Jun-young and Son Hyun-joo, is finishing strong. Episode 10 pulled 11.1% viewership on Nielsen Korea's paid platform national household basis ahead of its July 5 finale.
