&TEAM's first VR concert, directed by Kim Kyung-guk of AMAZE in 12K resolution, runs through July 26 with an Asian city rollout to follow.

&TEAM's first VR concert, BOUNDLESS, screens through July 26. A rollout across major Asian cities is already in the works.
Kim Kyung-guk of production company AMAZE directed the project. He spotted VR content's potential back in 2016 and has since helmed VR concerts for Tomorrow X Together and ENHYPEN. For BOUNDLESS, AMAZE deployed 12K ultra-high-resolution technology to create image clarity and spatial depth close to real life.
"The biggest appeal of VR concerts is being able to meet the artist I love at a really close distance," Kim said. One-take filming was deliberate. "I think one-take is important to give the feeling that I'm really in that space."
Kim doesn't see VR replacing a live show. "VR concerts are not a substitute but a new performance experience," he said—"a new flavor of K-pop content." (Whether fans agree after strapping on a headset remains to be seen.)
No specific Asian city dates have been announced. The sequential screening plan suggests the team views BOUNDLESS as an ongoing global run, not a one-off event.
