Boom brought his 28-month-old daughter onto MBC's variety show for the first time, introducing her as "a precious daughter I had at age 42."

Boom brought his 28-month-old daughter Yoon-seo onto MBC's Choe Woo San on July 26 — her first-ever broadcast appearance, and the youngest child on the show.
Yoon-seo was born in 2024 via emergency cesarean section. Boom married a wife seven years his junior in 2022 and has two daughters. He explained the timing: "She is a precious daughter I had at age 42, so I am introducing her for the first time." He also addressed her quiet demeanor upfront. Both he and Yoon-seo are shy around strangers, but "once she loosens up, she will have a lot of energy."
Co-star Jang Dong-min's own son Shi-woo (born January 2024) and daughter Ji-woo (born 2022) also appear on the show. When Yoon-seo arrived, Jang's reaction was immediate: "My heart is fluttering. Why is this kid so well-behaved?" He told Shi-woo to look after her — the two are the same age. Shi-woo didn't hesitate: "Don't worry. I'll protect her." Boom laughed it off. "He seems to be drawing a big picture. It seems like he's thinking of a merger."
Huh Kyung-hwan's eight-year-old niece Ria also appeared in the episode. She showed off taekwondo flexibility, jump rope skills, and choreography from Corde's REDRED and ILLIT's It's Me. She named Boom as her favorite cast member, citing shared music taste.
Choe Woo San airs every Sunday at 6:05 PM on MBC.
