Bumkey is back. SPEEED (feat. JUSTHIS, Justin Park) arrived July 27 across streaming platforms—his first new music in roughly nine months since I'm Missing You.
The track leads into his upcoming regular album On My Way, due in August. Bumkey has said the album will weave together the road he's already walked and the direction ahead into his R&B sound. The title does heavy lifting.
The features caught attention. JUSTHIS, a staple in the domestic hip-hop scene, handled the rap verse and appears in the music video. Justin Park, a Korean-American R&B artist who recently collaborated with Migos member Quavo, completes the lineup.
David Yungin Kim (영인) mixed the track. He's a three-time Grammy Award winner with credits alongside Kendrick Lamar and Nas. That's serious pedigree for a pre-release single.
Bumkey plans to ride SPEEED straight into the On My Way rollout.
