Choi Yun-ji debuted in 2024 and is now heading to Disney+ and KBS 2TV after playing a villain in Netflix's Wonderfuls.

Choi Yun-ji joins Moving Season 2 and lands first historical drama role in Nameless Lantern

Choi Yun-ji has two major projects locked in. The 28-year-old actress has joined Disney+'s Moving Season 2 and has been cast in the new KBS 2TV drama Nameless Lantern (무명의 등불), her first historical drama.

Her rise has been swift. Choi debuted in 2024 through Love on a Single Log (사랑은 외나무다리에서), playing Go Hae-su, and that same year took a supporting role as Yoo In-young in the Netflix drama Trunk. The first half of 2025 brought a tvN appearance in Wise Doctor's Life (언젠가는 슬기로울 전공의생활) as Lee Chae-ryung. Then came her first lead role in the second half of 2025: Lee Hyo-ri in tvN's For Love, First (첫, 사랑을 위해).

Most recently she played villain Seok Ho-ran in the Netflix series Wonderfuls (원더풀스)—a sharp turn from her earlier work. She also appeared as a guest on tvN variety show Amazing Saturday (놀라운 토요일) in 2025.

On July 5 she posted a shopping mall photo with the caption "가로본능" (horizontal instinct). Off-screen she keeps a Siamese cat, trained in ballet previously, and has been playing guitar lately.
