CORTIS kicks off first tour at Inspire Arena — but repeat setlist and 100-min runtime draw criticism

CORTIS opened their first-ever tour on July 18 at Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon. The reaction was mixed.

The five-member group (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Gunho) ran the debut night of '2026 CORTIS TOUR PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN' for approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. That fell short of two hours. YOUNGCREATORCREW, a track from their second mini album GREENGREEN, was performed five times. Title track REDRED came up four times. What You Want, GO!, and TNT each hit the setlist at least twice. Online, fans called out the repetition as a "lack of sincerity."

Big Hit Music — the label behind BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and CORTIS — said the tour title means more than just "put down your phone." It expresses "the will and hope to play together with the audience in this moment."

CORTIS debuted in August of last year with only two mini albums to their name. GREENGREEN dropped in May 2026. REDRED hit number-one on music charts and music broadcast programs.

James posted a lengthy thank-you after the show, praising fans who "jumped around, shouted, headbanged, opened the mosh pit, and enjoyed every moment with open hearts." Gunho's message was sharper: "'PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN' is a spirit," he wrote. He thanked fans for "infinite YOUNGCREATORCREW" and added, "You're not tired yet, right?"

Day 2 runs at Inspire Arena on July 19. The tour stretches through September across nine cities — Toronto, Kanagawa, New York, and Los Angeles among them — for 14 total shows.
