Girls' Day So-jin's husband Lee Dong-ha steals scenes in SBS '김부장' as ratings hit 21.6%

Kim Bujang pulled 21.6% nationwide on July 4 — third-highest for any SBS Friday-Saturday drama in the channel's history.

The episode featured Nam Silsang, right-hand man to Ju Gang-chan (Ju Sang-wook), forcing hot potatoes into the mouth of a bound Geum-i-ppal (Jo Bok-rae) until he lost all his teeth. Cold-blooded doesn't begin to describe it.

Lee Dong-ha plays Nam Silsang. That detail spread fast. He married So-jin, Girls' Day member and actress, in November 2023 — So-jin was the first Girls' Day member to marry.

On premiere night, So-jin posted a photo of Lee Dong-ha on screen. "It's so fun from the first episode," she wrote. "Our yobo appears in 김부장. He's Nam Silsang. He's scary." She added she'd need to watch it again the next day.
