Han Da-gam appeared on MBC's Radio Star on July 29 to discuss her pregnancy. She conceived via her first IVF attempt and is due at the end of September.

Han Da-gam is 47, pregnant with her first child, and waiting on a call from Kim Gura.
The actress showed up on MBC's Radio Star on July 29 for a 'Miracle Las' special with Yoon Mi-ra, Kang Nam, and Park Ji-hyun. She was seven months along at the time of recording and is due at the end of September.
Her first IVF attempt worked. Medical staff told her the frozen eggs she'd stored in her 30s weren't necessary, so she used fresh embryos instead. For roughly two years before conception, she managed her circulation through exercise and hiking. She spent more than six months copying Buddhist scriptures to steady her mind. Morning sickness barely touched her. The hospital confirmed she's in very good condition.
She named the baby Chaltteok-i (찰떡이), after the sticky rice cake. "I named it so the baby would stick to me like chaltteok," she said. A fetal name with a hard consonant brings good fortune, she added, and the name fit given her age.
Congratulations poured in from her entertainment industry peers. This is the first time in her career she's gotten so many celebratory calls. Almost everyone called. Kim Gura didn't. Neither did Kim Guk-jin. "I was disappointed that only this older brother didn't call," she said of Kim Gura, referencing a dating reality show they'd done together.
She brought up Choi Ji-woo's pregnancy at 45 and Tang Wei's second pregnancy at 48. Her own first pregnancy at 47 sits alongside theirs. Her husband has turned into a full 'yes man' since the news—handling recycling and dishes without complaint.
