Hi-Fi Un!corn drop seventh H!dden Color track "Why We Fold Paper Airplanes"

Hi-Fi Un!corn released 종이비행기를 접는 이유 (Why We Fold Paper Airplanes) on July 31 at midnight. It's the seventh song in their H!dden Color project, a monthly series of Korean-language digital singles, each tied to a designated "hidden beautiful color."

This month's color is Skyfold White — the white of folded paper with a hint of sky blue, meant to capture the moment a paper airplane catches light as it rises toward the sky. The song uses that image to explore letting go. Rather than forcing feelings away, the track suggests folding them lightly and sending them off.

Every member contributed to the songwriting and composition. Member Kim Hyun-yul (김현율) also created the jacket image himself. "I hope that the worries you carry today will become memories you can laugh about as time passes," he said.

The group is juggling multiple projects. In Japan, they have a new single Telescope and a tour of the same name coming. Back home, they're performing at the 2026 Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival on August 1 — the day after this release.
