The Singer Again 3 winner shared July 5 snapshots from Egypt: pyramids framed by Pizza Hut, bitter Mediterranean coffee, and a middle-school dream finally realized.

Hong Isaac posted Egypt family trip photos on July 5. His captions say a lot.
The 37-year-old singer shared a shot of himself at a stone railing at an Egyptian heritage site, surveying the surroundings. His mother took it. "My mother takes photos better than her son," he wrote. He also arrived early to beat the crowds: "Thanks to doing an opening run to see the pyramids, I went around cleanly without being a sucker."
The trip's greatest moment had nothing to do with ancient history. "Actually, the greatest emotion in Egypt was the moment I realized my long-held dream from middle school of eating pizza at a Pizza Hut where you can see the pyramids," he wrote. Middle-school bucket list: cleared.
Morning coffee with his father overlooked the Mediterranean from their accommodation. Unfiltered, so it was bitter. His resolution not to gain weight "was all broken on the first day." He noticed that "in hot countries, fruits are very sweet," that Egypt is "a country made of sand," and that the Coke there "is somewhat bland." Dinner with the family came with a view of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the pyramids behind it.
Hong Isaac won the final championship on JTBC's Singer Again 3. He built his musical foundation through Berkeley College of Music and the Yoo Jae-ha Music Competition. He released mini album The Lovers Note and single Hello, Goodbye across last year and this year, and contributed to drama and Netflix series OSTs.
