ITZY's Yuna misses Shenzhen fan signing after hospitalization
Yuna hospitalized with inflammation; Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, and Chaeryeong will attend the August 1–2 Shenzhen fan signing.
ITZY's Yuna will skip the group's Motto fan signing in Shenzhen, China on August 1–2 due to hospitalization for inflammation.
She went to the hospital with a high fever. Internal medicine tests confirmed inflammation, and doctors recommended she stay for treatment. JYP Entertainment broke the news on July 30: "We apologize for the sudden news causing concern. We will do our best to ensure sufficient treatment and recovery."
Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, and Chaeryeong will show up as planned. The fan signing supports Motto, ITZY's 12th mini album released in May.
The timing stings. ITZY is mid-tour with TUNNEL VISION, their third world tour that kicked off in February. Manila, Macau, Taipei, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, and Singapore still await. They're also hosting their fifth official fan meeting—ITZY MIDZY, Let's Go! "ALL IN, MIDZY"—on August 8–9 at Olympic Hall in Seoul.
Yuna's been running on fumes. Her solo album Ice Cream came out in March. She's also appeared in two tvN dramas: Undercover Miss Hong and My Beloved (최애의 사원). (A brutal first half of 2026 for her schedule-wise, which makes sitting out even harder for fans to swallow.) JYP hasn't said whether she'll make the upcoming tour stops.
