Jang Wonyoung tops Dcinside poll on airport manner controversies; Jessica, Jennie also ranked

IVE's Jang Wonyoung topped a Dcinside poll on which star's favorability had fallen over airport manner controversy. She drew 8,892 votes—24% of the 37,208 cast between July 6 and 12.

The poll came after allegations surfaced that Wonyoung received special treatment during identity verification at airport immigration. She then showed up at the airport without a hat or mask, triggering a second wave of online chatter. Since her IVE debut, Wonyoung has been a visible presence, recognized for her visuals and stage manner.

Girls' Generation's Jessica came second with 5,851 votes (16%). A video circulated online appearing to show her retching while passing through fans during arrival at a Chinese airport. The backlash followed. She addressed it directly via live broadcast, calling the moment a misunderstanding.

BLACKPINK's Jennie placed third at 5,741 votes (16%). Her airport appearance with her face covered while leaving for the Golden Disc Awards let down some overseas fans. (She was juggling global festival runs and her first solo album cycle at the time.) Hatsutohats, Byeon Woo-seok, and Cortis also appeared in the rankings below the top three.
