Zico's 'Tic Tac Toe' hits Circle Chart double #1 as Netflix mask performance drops
Zico and SHINee's Onew dominated Bugs, Melon, Circle Chart, and Music Core with 'Tic Tac Toe.' A Netflix stage performance followed on Oct. 26.
'Tic Tac Toe' runs the charts
Zico dropped Tic Tac Toe with SHINee's Onew on October 7 at 6 PM. Within days it hit No. 1 on Bugs real-time and cracked Melon HOT100's top tier. For the October 4–10 tracking period, the track swept Circle Chart's digital and download charts. October 18 brought another win: the top spot on MBC Show! Music Core.
Streaming, downloads, broadcast. Four chart wins in under two weeks.
Netflix stage adds to the run
October 26 brought a Netflix stage performance. Zico rapped in a mask against a red-lit screen, a dragon-shaped image looming behind him. The single was still charting when the clip landed.
The catalog behind the streak
Zico (real name Woo Ji-ho, 34) led Block B as main rapper. His solo work includes EPs GALLERY, TELEVISION, RANDOM BOX, and Grown Ass Kid. Two full albums followed: THINKING Part.1 and THINKING Part.2. Singles span 아무노래, Boys And Girls, BERMUDA TRIANGLE, SoulMate, SPOT! (Feat. JENNIE of BLACKPINK), and DUET.
아무노래 defined 2020 and sparked a massive dance challenge. The kind of cultural moment that rarely repeats—yet here he is, doing it again.
In 2024, he hosted KBS 2TV's The Seasons (fifth series, titled Zico's Artist) and took the Rookie Award in Show/Variety at the 2024 KBS Entertainment Awards for the work. He's currently producing SHOW ME THE MONEY 12 (2026 season) alongside Crush.
