ONEW & ZICO's 'Tic Tac Toe' hits No. 1 on Bugs real-time chart on release day
ONEW and ZICO's 'Tic Tac Toe' hit No. 1 on Bugs the moment it dropped October 7. The full single album '착각' arrives October 20.
Straight to No. 1
Tic Tac Toe, the collaboration between SHINee's ONEW and ZICO, debuted at No. 1 on the Bugs real-time chart on October 7. It also climbed into the upper ranks of Melon HOT100 the same day.
The track serves as the second title track from ONEW's single album 착각 (Misunderstanding), which has three title tracks total. The full album drops October 20. 착각 comes roughly seven months after ONEW's fifth mini-album TOUGH LOVE in March.
What the track is
Tic Tac Toe uses a game metaphor to explore the messy early days of romance. ONEW and ZICO each bring their own read on that ambiguous space. The production pairs 808-driven rhythm with trap textures—crisp, light. Both artists co-wrote and co-composed.
A visualizer went live on ONEW's official YouTube channel at midnight October 7. The concept film shows the two keeping rhythm and trading ideas in the studio.
Before Tic Tac Toe, ONEW had already released Mind Games with singer YUJU as the album's first title track.
