Onew drops triple-title album '착각' on Oct 20, with Zico collab already topping charts
Onew's three-track single album '착각' drops October 20. The lead single with Zico already hit #1 on Bugs and Circle Chart.
Zico collab already at #1 before the album drops
Onew's single album 착각 arrives October 20. Two of its three tracks have been out long enough to chart. The pre-release "Tic Tac Toe" — an R&B hip-hop track featuring Zico, with both artists credited on writing and composition — hit #1 on Bugs' real-time chart on release day (October 7) and entered the upper ranks of Melon HOT100. It then topped both the Circle Chart digital chart and download chart for Week 41 of 2026 (October 4–10).
The song frames the emotional push-and-pull between two people as a game. Onew's softer vocal register plays against Zico's rap. A challenge tied to the track drew participation from SHINee's Minho, ZEROBASEONE's Seok Matthew, BOYNEXTDOOR's Sungho and Unhak, and ALPHADRIVE1's Sanghyun, alongside Zico himself.
Three title tracks, one concept
The album runs three tracks: 착각, Mind Games, and Tic Tac Toe. All three are designated title tracks. Mind Games features Yuju. The album's stated concept explores emotions that arise when the same situation or experience gets interpreted differently by different people.
Onew posted the first concept photo on October 14 and a third on October 16 via official SNS.
Seoul concerts follow at the end of the month
The release leads directly into a solo concert run. Onew plays Seoul Olympic Park's Olympic Hall from October 30 through November 1 under the title 2026 ONEW CONCERT [ONEW THE LIVE : Q] IN SEOUL. Three nights in Seoul right after a triple-title drop is a lot of setlist math to do.
"Tic Tac Toe" is already sitting at the top of two Circle Chart categories before the full album is even out.
