Jon Park is dropping a self-written summer single in July—his first release in roughly 10 months—and locked in a duet with Sung Si-kyung for the YouTube cover series *기우제*.

Jon Park is coming back in July with a new single, roughly 10 months after his last release. Music Farm Entertainment confirmed he will begin full comeback activities alongside it.
The announcement happened on Sung Si-kyung's YouTube series 만날텐데 on the 8th, where Jon Park appeared as a guest and revealed the news himself.
He wrote, composed, and arranged the track entirely on his own. The sound, by his account: "a bit fluttery with a beat, quite funky and soulful"—"a retro summer song that evokes nostalgia." Sung Si-kyung offered his own take: "musicians all know that Jon Park sings very well."
The appearance also produced a collab. Jon Park invited Sung Si-kyung to join his YouTube cover series 기우제, pitching it as the first time a male singer would participate. Sung Si-kyung said yes immediately. They'll perform Sung Si-kyung's 두 사람 as a duet, though no episode date has been set yet.
This July single arrives on the back of real momentum. Jon Park sold out every seat at his solo concert 꿈처럼 in December last year—his first solo concert in eight years.
