Kang Ye-won attended an OK Madam 2 preview screening on July 28 and is gearing up for a villain role as Han Ae-ri in her next film.

Kang Ye-won (also known as Kim Ji-eun, 46) showed up at the OK Madam 2 preview screening on July 28, posting photos from the event alongside a message praising the cast and crew.
"I went to the OK Madam 2 preview — Director Lee Cheol-ha, co-producer Unni Yun-mi, and all the actors worked so hard," she wrote. She had a great time watching and gave a special shout-out: "Unni Jeonghwa, I respect your action. And Sangyun, it's been so long — let's grab soju soon."
Her screen comeback is already lined up. She's set to play Han Ae-ri, an insurance murderer, in the upcoming film Nae Seom-eseo Dangjang Naga! (Get Off My Island!). No release year has been confirmed yet.
While that project takes shape, she's currently on air as a cast member of the tvN STORY program Ijen Sarangehal Su Isseulkka (Can We Love Now?).
Kang debuted in 2001 on the SBS sitcom Honey Honey. She's probably best known for her role as Kim Hee-mi in Haeundae, the disaster film that crossed 10 million admissions. The insurance-killer role in her next film is a sharp pivot from that. Full villain now.
