Kim Do-wan goes full villain in tvN's 'Creepy Romance' — his first antagonist role

Kim Do-wan is playing his first villain in tvN's weekend drama 오싹한 연애 (Creepy Romance). Park Seung-jae doesn't ease anyone in gently.

He's the only son of a top-tier cartel power figure—described in the show as "evil among evils." He murdered a former lover, walked free by leaning on his father's influence, then immediately got back to work. Inside a prison visiting room, he offered Cheon Ha-ri (played by 조혜주) a deal to help her take over Reina Hotel after his release. Once out, he kidnapped Cheon Yeo-ri (박은빈) and fabricated a drug scandal around her. When Ma Gang-wook (양세종) showed up to intervene, Park Seung-jae hit him with a car without hesitating.

Do-wan debuted in 2017 with the web drama 열일곱. Since then he's appeared in 스타트업, 이두나!, 웨딩 임파서블, and ONE: 하이스쿨 히어로즈, where he handled action sequences and comedic beats. Most recently he wrapped a Japanese NTV drama, 열 번 찍어 안 넘어가는 나무 없다, which ended last month—warm family-drama emotional work. The range is doing its job.
