Child actor Kim Yun-seul lands tvN's 'Widae han Bang Ok-suk' after Bucheon Film Fest audience award

Child actor Kim Yun-seul has been cast in tvN's upcoming drama 위대한 방옥숙 (Widae han Bang Ok-suk). Character details and broadcast schedule will follow.

The news arrives fresh off a festival win. Her short film 묘어가 took the audience award in the 'Bucheon Choice Korean: Short Film' section at the 30th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival. She plays '설', a girl from an island village who suffers from asthma—carrying the entire film on her shoulders.

Kim is signed to First Actors, a casting agency for child and youth talent. She's appeared in KBS2's 은애하는 도적님아, SBS's 강매강, and SBS's 사마귀: 살인자의 외출. Last year she played the childhood version of Giga-young—the character Suzy portrays in Netflix's 다 이루어질 지니. A lead role before her teens.
