LE SSERAFIM performs 'BOOMPALA' as full five-member group for first time after Kim Chaewon's neck injury recovery

LE SSERAFIM finally put all five members on stage for BOOMPALA at Incheon Inspire Arena on July 12, the first time the title track has been performed with leader Kim Chaewon since her neck injury forced her to pause activities during the group's regular album promotions.

The group released their second full-length album PUREFLOW pt.1 on May 22, preceded by lead single CELEBRATION. When the title track BOOMPALA — which samples the global hit "Macarena" — entered its promotion cycle, Kim Chaewon was absent from music broadcast stages. The remaining members carried the run without her. She returned last month after recovery, and the Incheon dates marked her first full concert performances since the injury.

The July 12 set included ANTIFRAGILE, CRAZY, SPAGHETTI, and Irony, a second-album track getting its first-ever live outing. Kim Chaewon also performed the BOOMPALA intro that had already drawn attention online; Hong Eunchae and Kazuha joined her for it. (Fearnas, the wait is over.)

"I'm so happy to finally be able to show you," Kim Chaewon told the crowd, adding: "It was a big challenge for me — did you like it?" Hong Eunchae noted that the reaction to BOOMPALA the previous night "was really good" and acknowledged that Fearnas "must have waited for a really long time."

The Incheon run was streamed online across both days. From here, the PUREFLOW world tour moves to Japan: Osaka on August 25-26, Kanagawa on August 30 and September 1-2, Shizuoka on September 8-9, Miyagi on September 18-19, and Fukuoka on September 2-3. North America follows, then LE SSERAFIM's first-ever solo European concerts. An Asia leg opens in November. The full run covers 23 cities and 32 shows across five months through year-end.
