LE SSERAFIM's Kazuha posts ballet study-abroad photos: "15 years as a ballerina"
Kazuha posted throwback photos from her European ballet days on Oct. 21, offering a glimpse at the 15-year career she abandoned to audition for Source Music.

The photos that started the conversation
On October 21, Kazuha shared photos on her SNS from her time abroad in Europe. The caption marked 15 years as a ballerina. A short post with considerable weight behind it.
She began ballet as a child in Japan and competed at major domestic competitions. Training eventually took her overseas. The Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Russia came first, then the Royal Ballet School in the UK. She later enrolled at the Dutch National Ballet Academy in the Netherlands for a full study-abroad program.
From ballet company to Source Music audition
Kazuha was preparing to join a professional ballet company when K-pop caught her attention. She auditioned for Source Music. She debuted with LE SSERAFIM in 2022 on the group's first album title track FEARLESS.
The photos surfaced while she's touring with her members and fresh off an appearance on Netflix's 대환장 기안장2 (Dae-hwanjang Gianjang 2), where audiences saw a more relaxed version of her away from the stage.
Fifteen years of pointe shoes traded for a debut stage. The SNS post basically wrote itself.
