Lee Seol on reuniting with Nam Goong-min in KBS thriller 'Completion of Marriage'

KBS 2TV's new Saturday-Sunday mini-series 결혼의 완성 (Completion of Marriage) held its production presentation on July 1 at The Saint in Sindorim, Seoul. Nam Goong-min, Lee Seol, Kim Dae-myung, and Lee Sang-hee were there.

A man fights a ruthless criminal to rescue his wife, kidnapped on the eve of their divorce. That's the crime thriller at the heart of the show. Jung Jae-ha wrote it; director Kim Jung-hyun helmed production.

Lee Seol plays Go Se-yoon, the wife of protagonist Tae-joo and director of Woori Together Hospital. This marks her second consecutive project with Nam Goong-min—they previously worked together on the SBS drama 우리영화. On set, she leaned on him constantly. "I kept bothering the senior asking 'Can you read the script with me?' and he readily said yes," she said. "I want to thank him once more."

Watching him work left an impression. "I could feel how much he loves acting," she said. His meticulous planning stuck with her throughout filming.

Action sequences were unfamiliar territory. Controlling strength and distance felt awkward at first, but her castmates guided her through it. (Nam Goong-min even arranged for her to visit the hospital when needed.) By the end of production, she was genuinely happy on set because of how much action work there was.
