Musical 'Elisabeth' Season 6 opens Aug 16 in Seoul; Rina and Lee Ji-su casting videos released

The sixth season of musical Elisabeth opens August 16, 2026 at Seoul Blue Square Woori Bank Hall and runs through November 15.

EMK Musical Company posted casting videos on YouTube showing Rina and Lee Ji-su performing the 'Muras' number. Both are among three actresses rotating the title role of Empress Elisabeth, with Lee Ji-hye completing the trio.

The rest of the cast spreads across multiple performers. Death (Der Tod) rotates among Kai, Seo Gyeong-su, and Ko Eun-seong. Luccheni is shared by Park Eun-tae, Kang Hong-seok, and No Yun. Emperor Franz Joseph alternates between Min Yeong-gi and Park Min-seong. Archduchess Sophie goes to Seo Ji-young and Ju-a. Crown Prince Rudolf features Jang Yun-seok and Kim Woo-seong. Kim Dae-ho and Jang Ye-won round out the ensemble.

The musical draws from the life of Austrian Empress Elisabeth. (By season six, the production continues to evolve its staging and character work.)
