NOWZ set for August 5 comeback with digital single 'Achilles', 10 months after 'Play Ball'
NOWZ's Cube Entertainment has unveiled the teaser schedule for 'Achilles', their first domestic release since November 2025's 'Play Ball'.
NOWZ is coming back. Cube Entertainment posted the teaser schedule for the group's digital single Achilles on July 27 via official SNS, confirming an August 5 release across online music sites.
The five-member group — Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyeok, and Siyoon — last put out domestic music in November 2025 with their third single Play Ball. Achilles arrives roughly 10 months later.
An audio teaser dropped July 28. Three versions of concept photos release sequentially July 29 through 31. MV teasers land August 3 and 4, one day before the single goes live. Before any of that, NOWZ will perform the new track live at the 2026 Ocean World Blue Splash summer festival on August 2.
The teaser scheduler itself sets the visual tone with a 1980s movie poster aesthetic. CRT screen light bleeding, rough film grain, and retro color tones build out the look (analog all the way). A solo concept teaser poster featuring member Siyoon's intense gaze had already circulated ahead of the schedule reveal.
