Park Eun-bin sees ghosts as a reclusive hotel heiress in tvN's 'Chilling Romance'

tvN's 오싹한 연애 (Chilling Romance) aired its first episode on July 18 at 9:10 PM, launching the network's new Saturday-Sunday drama slot.

Park Eun-bin plays Cheon Yeo-ri, head of Reina Hotel and a chaebol heiress. She's wealthy, beautiful, accomplished—and completely alone. Financial circles call her "the princess in reclusion" because she's severed every human connection. The reason: she can see and hear ghosts. Anyone who touches her hand inherits the same ability, what the show calls yeong-an (靈眼), the spiritual eye.

Opposite her stands a prosecutor defined by one trait: he's terrified of ghosts. The show builds its occult romance on that collision.

Yang Se-jong and Ong Seong-wu round out the cast. Director Lee Min-su oversaw production. The ensemble appeared at a press presentation on July 14 at Eliana Hotel Seoul Gangnam.

For Park Eun-bin, this is a hard pivot from Wonderfuls, released in May, where she embodied Eun-chae-ni—bright, warm, the opposite of what she's doing now. Two completely different characters in two months.
