Lee Dae-hwi returns to KCON after 9 years, signs with Off The Record under Wake One

AB6IX's Lee Dae-hwi is heading back to KCON LA for the first time in nine years.

On August 15, the 25-year-old posted a rehearsal photo—multiple people in white suits and performance outfits in an indoor space—with the caption "KCON after 9 years," confirming his slot at KCON LA 2026. The event runs August 14–16 across LA Convention Center and Crypto.com Arena with 36 acts. NCT 127, ZEROBASEONE, and Tomorrow X Together are daily headliners. Wanna One, the project group Lee Dae-hwi debuted with after placing third on Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017, will also appear. It's their first KCON in nine years, and they're premiering a stage called Bombarom Again (다시 봄바람).

The KCON news arrives with a bigger move: Lee Dae-hwi has signed an exclusive contract with Off The Record, a label under Wake One. The label said they will "provide full support so he can widely demonstrate his capabilities as an artist." Lee Dae-hwi said he is "very happy to make a new start with Off The Record" and plans to show growth across music and broadcasting.

He's been prolific. AB6IX dropped the digital single 1분 1초 on January 27, 2026, followed by pre-release single So Sweet (0522) on February 27, then the third regular album SEVEN : CRIMSON HORIZON on March 16. Within AB6IX, Lee Dae-hwi is lead vocal and main producer. He has writing and composition credits on the debut title track BREATHE and BLIND FOR LOVE from the first full-length 6IXENSE. Solo, his track ROSE, SCENT, KISS appeared on the digital mini-album 5NALLY.

KCON started in Irvine in 2012 and has since run across 14 regions with cumulative offline attendance of roughly 2.35 million.
