THE SHOW partners with Apple Music for global rebranding push

THE SHOW, the K-pop music broadcast run by entertainment technology company BIGC, announced an official partnership with Apple Music on July 31, 2026. The goal: rebrand globally.

The partnership builds a marketing system that connects broadcast appearances directly to global streaming performance. BIGC's fandom data analysis pairs with Apple Music's platform reach. Apple Music has 180 million premium subscribers. 57% of its listeners consume music through official curated playlists. THE SHOW will use Apple Music's THE K-POP official curator channel as the primary touchpoint between artists and international listeners.

RESCENE (리센느) proves the model works. The girl group scored their first-ever music broadcast No. 1 win on THE SHOW. Alongside that win, BIGC dropped a fanpop playlist for RESCENE on the THE K-POP curator account, reaching the group's global fandom RIMAINE.

BIGC has been building toward this for years. The company acquired fandom platform Blip and data service K-POP RADAR, giving it a user base of 3.7 million and 1.3 billion fandom data records. It also runs an all-in-one digital venue platform covering ticket reservations, AI live, and commerce for artist and media IP. (That's substantial infrastructure for a music show most people outside Korea don't know exists yet.)

Kim Chil-sung, BIGC's overall director, said the company will "rebrand THE SHOW as a global music show that helps K-pop artists expand their fandoms in the Americas, Europe, and worldwide" and will "fully support global partnerships and tech infrastructure" for participating artists.
